Cowbell Football Academy Summer Camp Set To Kick-off

-

All is now set for the Cowbell Football Academy (CFA) 2017 Summer Camp.
The CFA, which holds for a duration of three weeks, from July 23 to August 12, enlists the proficiencies of renowned and experienced coaches and trainers to transmit adequate skills and knowledge to the children.
It is no surprise that the academy has enlisted the service of former Super Eagles striker, Jonathan Akpoborie, as the Camp Director.
In addition, the children when playing on the field would be under the watchful eyes of experienced trainer, Hyacienth Nkwocha, who is the Technical Director of the academy. These people will work with a host of professionals from the sporting world.
Apart from the experienced coaching, other features to be, enjoyed by the kids in the academy include Individual Technical development and Mental Training.
They will also take part in Small-Sided Games during the duration of the summer camp as well as partake in Team Competitions. Specialised Goal-Keeping training is also another key highlight during the summer camp.
It is, however, not just about sports alone. Sports training without formation of character do not ensure total development.
Therefore, the CFA will organise Character Building sessions in order to sensitise the children and reiterate to them the values expected of them by the society. There would also be Knowledge Sharing sessions in which distinguished educators will share knowledge with the students in the hope that it impacts them. It will also be an opportunity for the students to exchange ideas on different facets of life.
As a socially responsible corporate citizen, the CFA is also part of the sponsor’s objective to improve and develop sports in the country. It also dwells on building stronger bonds between the brand and the communities and especially among the children.
