Meanwhile, Moslems in Niger State yesterday joined their counterpart from across the world to celebrate the year’s Eid-el-Fitr which was generally peaceful and low-keyed as prayers in were offered in Mosques to commemorate the event.

Though generally low-keyed and peaceful, the celebration was devoid of the usual slaughtering of cows, rams and chicken by individuals but more of groups coming together to share cows or rams according to one’s financial capacity as the case maybe.
