How man killed, buried prostitute in Delta

The Ughelli Police Area Command has arrested a suspect simply identified as Efe for allegedly burying a prostitute he had spent the night with at his Ughelli apartment after she was said to have died mysteriously while they were together.
The suspect was reportedly arrested following security information from a resident who saw the suspect burying the victim in the early hours of the night.
“He had solicited for the services of the girl from a brothel, where they had earlier engaged in high use of hard drugs and alcohol before taking her to his house for the night,” a staff at the hotel who simply gave his name as Victor stated.
Victor said: “Efe took her to his house located at Okorodafe Street. At the house, the victim was said to have died and for reasons best known to him (Efe), he went to bury her but someone who saw him during the act reported him to the police who arrested him the next day.”
Confirming the arrest of the suspect to Vanguard, a senior officer at the Ughelli Area Command, on anonymity, disclosed that the suspect who has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, had claimed that the victim was his girlfriend.
