INEC releases list of candidates for Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency, Garki ward councillorship bye-election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the list of candidates contesting the Saturday, December 3, 2016 Garki Ward Councillorship of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) and the Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency of Lagos State bye-elections.

In a statement signed and issued by the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Augusta C. Ogakwu, four (4) parties and their candidates will slug it out for the Garki Ward Councillorship election, while six (6) political parties and their candidates will be contesting the Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency election.

Those contesting the Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency election are:

1. Yusuf Olawale Fatai AA
2. Adebayo Michael Akanbi AD
3. Olugbenga Olusegun Owolabi ADC
4. Akinwunmi Nurudeen Olaitan APC
5. Babatope Babatunde Akinyele PDP
6. Ajiboye Femi Olorunnisomo SDP.

The candidates and political parties contesting the Garki Ward Councillorship election are:

1. Hamza Muktar Lima APC
2. Ikechukwu Nwabuaja APGA
3. Sidiku Emmanuel NCP
4. Danladi Budebo Jezhi PDP.
