Wolves took the lead after Hee-chan Hwang capitalised on Gabriel’s poor back pass to Aaron Ramsdale to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.

For long periods Hee-chan Hwang’s early effort had looked like being decisive for the visitors.

But the Gunners equalised in the 82nd minute when substitute Nicholas Pepe twisted and scored a brilliant pass from fellow substitute Edward Nketiah.

Arsenal scored a second in the added time when a move between Pepe, Odegard, and Lacazette ended at the back of the net after Jose Sa tipped the effort into his own goal.

The result sees Mikel Arteta’s side move up to fifth in the table, just 1 point behind fourth-placed Manchester United, with two games in hand.

Wolves who would have gone above Arsenal had they held on to their first-half goal are now seventh in the table and 5 points below Arsenal.
