Pere dashed the hope of an expectant fan recently, saying a relationship between him and Maria is off the card

BBNaija 6 ‘Shine Ya Eye’ ex-housemate Pere Egbi, better known as General Pere has refuted claims that he and his love interest during the show, Maria were good together.
Pere and Maria, who were wildcard housemates, got romantically entangled during the reality TV show, and many lovers of the show rooted for their ‘ship’ to sail.
At first, Pere acted as if his relationship with Maria was a strategy but began to fall in love with the beautiful former air hostess as days went by.

The second runner-up also expressed interest in having a relationship with Maria outside the house but she declined the proposal, saying she was romantically involved outside the house.
What seemed like a perfect union initially, soon crumbled and the duo went their separate ways after the BBNaija show.
However, a die-hard fan, who has refused to give up on the possibility of the two dating each other, recently admired a photo they took together and wrote “ in what planet, aren’t they cute together?
Reacting to the comment, Maria replied jokingly, as she said, ” Planet Earth, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto, and Erasmus”
Pere on the other hand was blunt, as he stated that he and Maria were never good together and that nothing was going to happen between them.
“Never cute, please. Ship is destroyed” he said.
