John Dumelo had earlier threatened to trek barefooted from Accra in Ghana to Lagos, Nigeria if the Super Eagles win

Ace Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has taunted the Super Eagles following their draw with the Black Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ghana yesterday.
Dumelo took to social media after the encounter to describe the Super Eagles as ‘super chickens’, a name Nigerians call the team whenever their performance is not up to scratch.
Reacting after the match, Dumelo, in an Instagram post wrote: “Dear super chickens, I was very confident you won’t win this game.”

Nigeria and Ghana ended the first leg of the World Cup playoff in Ghana goalless and they are expected to meet again on Tuesday, for the second leg at the MKO Stadium in Abuja.
Prior to the match, Dumelo had said he would trek barefooted from Accra to Lagos if the Super Eagles win the encounter in an Instagram post on Friday.
“There’s no way Nigeria will win today’s match. If they do, I John Setor Dumelo, will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head! Super eagles my foot!” he said.
