Keep faith with new Nigeria, don’t give up, Abayomi admonishes Nigerian youths

Abayomi says whoever becomes president must know that he has very little time to turn things around and win the confidence of the youths

Worried by the unpleasant situation in the country, Human Rights Activist and Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council for Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Dr Tunji Abayomi, has advised Nigerian youths that it is not the time for them to give up or to succumb to despair rather it is time to work more seriously to build the country of their dreams.

Abayomi who gave the admonition in a statement on his Facebook page said with the revolution of rising frustration in Nigeria, it would be unserious for the youths to be lethargic at this period of time.

According to him, “I encourage the youths to continue to pass the message through agitation and demands from the corrupt pitiless oligarchs in Perpetual control of Nigeria that they must just free Nigeria to achieve the greatness this vital nation is destined to achieve if they want to avoid a revolution.

“After EndSARS, we have yet a new youth agitation. Youths must find a mission to direct their valiant energies naturally. 

“I’m supporting Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President but it is clear to me that whoever becomes the President of Nigeria must know that he has very little time to turn things around and win the confidence of the Youths of Nigeria.

 “As to the Youths, I commend your consciousness. The price of liberty is eternal vigilance. With the revolution of rising frustration in Nigeria, it will be unserious for the youths to be lethargic. We already set you the example in our titanic struggle against military dictatorship”, Abayomi added.
