Simi eulogises Wande Coal, ignores husband, Adekunle Gold

Wande Coal and Simi In November 2018  pulled off electrifying performances at their sold-out concerts in London

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as  Wande Coal has been praised by his colleague Simisola Ogunleye-Kosoko a.k.a Simi, for his hit songs and consistency.

The mother of one made this known via her Instagram page, where she hailed Wande consistency and longevity in the Nigerian music scene and wondered if she was the only one who noticed the feat.

The ‘Joromi’ crooner, also noted she and Wande Coal remain the two Nigerian Musicians that are yet to release songs that are unpleasing to her ears.

She wrote; ” I feel like Wande Coal is the only artist (including me) that I’ve liked on everything I’ve heard him on”

Reacting to her eulogy on social media, the online community expressed shock over the statement she made and wondered why she didn’t extend such a compliment to her husband, Adekunle Gold.

In November 2018  Wande Coal and Simi pulled off electrifying performances at their sold-out concerts in London.

Wande Coal held his concert at the over 2,000 capacity Indigo at the O2 Arena, while Simi performed at  he 800 capacity O2 Academy on the same night.

The show was Simi’s first London show and she performed some of her hit songs sharing the stage with Falz, The Bahd Guy, and her eventual Adekunle Gold.

Meanwhile, Wande Coal, whose show was co-hosted by Basketmouth, took the guests on a musical journey with a live band and surprise performances from Burna Boy and Naira Marley.

The highlight of the two performances was when Ace singer Wizkid dropped by to surprise Simi and Wande Coal at their respective events.
